For this outdoor family session, we spent the evening exploring, playing, and letting things unfold naturally.
And honestly, that time makes all the difference.
I love when family photoshoots have room to breathe. When we aren’t rushing from one photograph to the next. When children have a chance to warm up, explore, get comfortable, and show me who they really are.
That’s usually when creativity starts happening.

The tulip fields provided the most beautiful backdrop for these family photos, but my favorite part of the session was getting to know them as a family. Watching their dynamic. Seeing the way they interacted. Creating images that felt like them, not just photos of them.
